Gestational surrogacy is only recognized in the State of Arizona when the intended mother is a genetic parent; and, only if the gestational carrier does not wish to be the intended parent of the child, once the child has been born.
No other surrogacy contracts are viable in the courts of law in Arizona. State law of Arizona also does not define whether compensation beyond expenses is allowable.
