Surrogacy Law in Alaska

Ambiguous or undefined. In the State of Alaska, there is no law that enforces surrogacy contracts. There is no law determining whether or not a surrogate may be compensated beyond expenses.

Generally and practically speaking, intended parents are able to enter into contracts for gestational surrogacy. Adoption via court order after birth may be required, although in other cases it may not.
