I very rarely feel compelled to leave a negative review on anything, with that said I would highly recommend that anyone considering using this law firm reconsider. I reached out to Mr. Terenzio after the passing of my spouse to get legal help to see what my options are for keeping embryos that we had before her sudden passing. Mr. Terenzio asked for a few days to take a look at the issue before he would get back to me. I followed up after a week of waiting, in which I was told that since my case was in another state he needed feedback from a different attorney in that state. I have tried to get in contact with him several times then both via email and calling his offices to leave a message. I have not gotten a response in over 4 weeks. I can't speak to other experiences but what I can say about from mine is that this law firm does not care about the sensitivity of your issue, your feelings, or your time. I hope that this lost of time has not been detrimental to my issue as I find myself other counsel that will at the very least respond. Again I would ask anyone that is seeking legal help to reconsider their options. I will admit that Mr. Terenzio was never retained via contract, but if he can't be bothered with a potential client then I highly doubt that your money is going to good efficient use once you become a client.

Robert T Terenzio has 25 years as principal of a law firm that exclusively addresses assisted reproductive technology law. Robert is a member of the Florida and Connecticut Bar Associations. He belongs to the Family Law Section of both states as well as the Health Law Section of the Florida Bar. Robert is a member of the American Bar Association and was the first ART Attorney to serve on its Family Law Council. He is also a member of the ABA's Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee. Robert is a Fellow of the Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys. Robert Terenzio is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology and the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics, the World Law Association and the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS). Robert has answered the challenge of the lack of transparency in ART by speaking to physicians, nurses, allied medical personnel, attorneys and the infertile public, in both formal settings and informal meetings, within the United States, and in Europe and South America.
Malika was born in Casablanca, Morocco where she pursued her accounting and computer programming degrees. Post-graduation, she worked for a company’s accounting/International business department dealing with Clients from European and North American countries. After moving to the U.S., she attended the Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado and subsequently, worked for a Mutual Fund Company. In 2001, she worked for State College of Florida as a Budget Analyst before transitioning into ART as an Intended Parent Coordinator helping French Commissioning Parents in their journey to parenthood. In addition, she provided translation services to the intended parents during their medical, psychological evaluations and legal counseling. This experience solidified her desire to continue helping future parents as an Office Manager at the Law Offices of Robert T. Terenzio, where she enjoys working with clients from around the world with varying cultures and backgrounds, but all seeking the wonderful dream of parenthood. In her free time, Malika enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors walking, hiking, kayaking and skiing with her family and friends.
Jillian Cash is a student at Stetson University College of Law, pursuing a concentration in International Law. She graduated from Bryant University in Rhode Island in 2022, with a degree in International Business and Spanish. During her time there, she studied abroad in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Spain, building language and cultural competencies by working with the local communities. She enjoys collaborating with clients by educating and coaching them on the best course of action for their unique situations. Jillian looks forward to pursuing a career in surrogacy law, to bring together her love of diverse cultures and creating the gift of family for people all around the world.
Welma was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She then moved to England to learn English and met her American husband. After 2 years in Cambridge, England they moved to the US, to Boston, MA at first, then settled in San Diego, CA , starting a family and resided in that city for over 15 years. The family relocated to Tampa, Florida, in 2003. Welma started working as office manager for a private adoptions and surrogacy agency. For 10 years, beyond accounting and other office work, Welma was involved in drafting legal documents for Adoption and Surrogacy, as well as coordinating and being a liaison between the pregnant women and the adopting Couples, as well as Surrogates and their Intended Parents. Since 2014 Welma has been with The Law Offices of Robert T. Terenzio, working as an Assistant to Robert Terenzio. Loving her work in helping families to grow makes life quite enjoyable. She says "It is a good feeling to go home knowing that I had a small part in the process.” Welma is a proud vovó (grandma in Portuguese) and spends as much time with her grandsons as she can. Besides work and kids, Welma is active in an organization dedicated to help the people in Haiti’s Cité Soleil. Working to help people is Welma’s passion, it keeps her young at heart.
Inesse was born in Denver, Colorado but in 2001, moved to Florida with her family. In 2016 she graduated high school and went on to graduate Cum Laude with her Bachelors in Arts from the University of South Florida - Tampa in 2019. With a passion for law, Inesse started her journey at the Law Offices of Robert T. Terenzio as a legal intern in 2018. Upon graduation, she officially joined the firm as a Paralegal, Billing Coordinator and monitors the office social media platforms. In her free time, Inesse is studying to take her Law School entrance exam as well as studying to be a personal trainer. Inesse is very passionate about fitness and well being. Inesse likes to ski and spend time with her dog, Bingo, her family and friends.
