We know that infertility treatment can be highly technical, extremely complex, emotionally draining and expensive, which is why providing personal attention and walking you through every step of the process is so critical in achieving success.
This review is for Reproductive Partners Medical Group, not the doctors that work there. I underwent egg/embryo freezing. The whole operation is extremely impersonal and inefficient. Another reviewer suggested it's like a factory, which is spot on (in the worst way possible). Some examples of the many challenges- 1. It's impossible to have a phone conversation with anyone besides the receptionist. 2. Due to poor communication on their part, I've been out of pocket thousands of dollars for 2 month (for expenses my insurance or employer will cover). This is despite 14 email attempts, and several voicemail attempts on my part. 3. Slow response times have held me up from getting my medication on time. 4. They rely 100% on video training for the medications & injections. No in-person training from the staff. My friend diluted her shots incorrectly due to lack of in-person education. 5. Hour long wait times for appointments.
BEWARE!!! I've never really experienced this with a medical provider before. I missed 1 call from Kimberly/Elizabeth and attempted to contact them 8 times but got nowhere. It is also impossible to get a straight answer about costs. No one from financial services ever called me back to discuss my financial options and in the end I got a very bizarre call about they have decided to not take me as a patient because my expectations were too high. My expectation is that if I'm going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars then maybe someone should call me back. Unless you have money to burn and don't question a single cent that they want to charge you for then this is not the practice to go to for fertility care.
I am beyond grateful to write this review for Dr. Andy Huang and his team at RPMG Beverly Hills, who have completely changed our lives forever. After seeing multiple highly sought out doctors and undergoing IVF treatments without success, I was pessimistic and had nearly lost hope. However, Dr. Huang approached our situation with a confidence that was both reassuring and inspiring. He honestly assessed our situation and assured us that he was hopeful he could make our dream of parenthood come true. His words and expertise filled us with a renewed sense of hope. Now, one year later, we are blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby boy who has brought immeasurable joy into our lives. Dr. Huang is incredibly busy, but he is worth the wait. Even though he's busy helping other hopeful parents he always made himself available to us after hours. His dedication, honesty, and skills are unparalleled, and I cannot thank him enough for making our dream a reality. My husband and I are forever thankful for his guidance and care. We are beyond thankful to him and his team for giving us our miracle baby. If you are looking for a doctor who combines expertise with genuine compassion, Dr. Huang is the one. He truly changed our lives, and we can't say enough good things about him and his team. There are no words to truly describe how grateful and thankful we are to you Dr Huang and your team. Dr. Rosen completed his internship at Cedars-Sinai/UCLA Medical Centers in Los Angeles, an OB/GYN residency at Northwestern University in Chicago and a fellowship at USC. Dr. Rosen is Board Certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. He is recognized for his expertise in the treatment and evaluation of infertility and recurrent pregnancy losses, IVF, microsurgical and laparoscopic surgical techniques and has conducted research, published and lectured throughout the nation and in Asia on various aspects of IVF, endometriosis, infertility and reproductive surgery. Dr. Rosen was selected as one of the “Best Doctors in America”, since its first ballot in 1997 and every year since. L.A. Magazine also voted him one of L.A.’s Super Doctors. Having worked with Dr. Yee since 1987, he has co-authored a textbook on the use of ultrasound in infertile patients with Dr. Yee and Dr. Cassidenti and a book on treating infertility from the male’s perspective. Dr. Rosen, his wife, Michelle and their three children reside in Manhattan Beach where he was a founding chairman and is now a chairman emeritus of the Manhattan Wine Auction. This venue has raised more than $8 million dollars for the local public school district. Dr. Huang's residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a three-year fellowship specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was completed at UCLA Medical Center, where he was recipient of the Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Award. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Since joining Reproductive Partners, Dr. Huang has received numerous recognitions including: Los Angeles Magazine Super Doctors, Best Doctors, Patient’s Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Award, and Top Ten Doctor Award. Dr. Huang has published numerous journal articles and text book chapters focusing on stem cell development, endometriosis and infertility, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). He has also examined whether an association exists between genetic defects and pregnancies conceived through IVF. For his research, he has been awarded numerous awards and has been invited to speak at both national and international conferences. He currently chairs local and national committees for the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. He is also a reviewer for the journal Fertility and Sterility, a clinical instructor at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, and was featured on ABC’s Newsmakers for his volunteer work in Africa. Dr. Huang is a volunteer fertility consultant for the Los Angeles Zoo and sits on its medical advisory board. He and his wife, Grace, are the proud parents of two boys and a girl. Dr. Wambach completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, followed by a three-year fellowship specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Preserving fertility for cancer patients was what first interested Dr. Wambach in reproductive medicine. Once immersed in the field she found that she loved every aspect of it. The final part of her training was experiencing the resolution of her own infertility. The treatment resulted in her and her husband’s son Jack. Her current interests in the field include recurrent miscarriage, premature ovarian failure and reproductive immunology. Her work was published in Reproductive Immunology. Dr. Wambach was recently recognized as a “rising star” and Super Doctor in LA magazine and is very active in fundraising for the March of Dimes. When not working Dr. Wambach enjoys spending time with her family, reading and rooting for her undergraduate alma mater the Michigan Wolverines.
