I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Andy Huang and their entire team at RPMG. From the very first consultation, I felt truly heard, supported, and cared for. Navigating fertility challenges can be overwhelming, but Dr. Huang approached every step with empathy, clarity, and unwavering professionalism.
My husband and I are currently 15 weeks pregnant, and we truly couldn’t have done it without the incredible team at RPMG. From the very beginning, Dr. Wendy Chang made us feel informed, supported, and genuinely cared for. She is everything you could hope for in a doctor during this process—warm, brilliant, and incredibly thorough. We felt in the best hands every step of the way. Her assistant Kimberly was an absolute gem—so kind and responsive—and the entire staff, from the nurses to the lab team to the ultrasound techs, went above and beyond for us. Every question (and I had many!) was answered with patience and care, and we always felt in the loop. IVF can be overwhelming, especially when it’s all so new, but this team made us feel empowered and hopeful. We’re so grateful to have been guided by such a compassionate and skilled group. Thank you, Dr. Chang and the whole RPMG family—we are forever thankful!
It saddens me to leave this review because I really liked the RE I was referred to, Dr. Meredith Brower. However, I cannot in good conscience continue treatment at this clinic as the staff are remarkably unprofessional. When you work so hard for every penny, it is particularly painful to pay thousands of dollars for incompetent and subpar service. The insurance department in particular has zero regard for the time sensitive and emotional nature of fertility treatments. They treat you like a stranger (despite a history of on time payments). They do not act with a sense of urgency in submitting insurance preauth requests and then are dishonest and impossible to reach with questions or concerns. The last straw was having an IVF cycle delayed for no reason other than the insurance department failed to submit an insurance auth request over 5 business days, lied about when it was actually submitted, ignored my request for an expedited auth request (which could have been turned around in 3 days) and multiple follow up emails. The one untimely response I received was to let me know that due to work demands it takes a week for insurance auth requests to be submitted. That is absurd. They don't clearly explain the out of pocket costs up front and I was surprised by charges that I could not bill to insurance and did not know about when service was rendered. The billing department is similarly disorganized and not transparent. I've had to request clarifications and have spent time out of my workday to figure out bills received with misallocated payments. The nursing staff is nice enough but each visit I'm hearing all of the gossip - about them and their patients. In fact, I learned that one of my friends was also going to this clinic because the nurses have no regard for patient privacy and were talking loudly about her case. When I'd receive calls from my doctor or nurse there was often loud talking and laughing in the background. The clinic allowed patients to bring their DOGS (not service) with them into the ultrasound rooms which is totally unsanitary. The anesthesia nurse was making jokes and asking me questions about what me and my husband do for a living, meanwhile I'm on my back in an undignified position awaiting surgery. When there is such disregard across so many areas of the clinic you have to wonder about the quality of care and handling of tissues. As I've read similar bad reviews about the staff here, it's obvious that there is no accountability and this is the culture of the clinic. So unfortunate. Beware.
