I had ostomy surgery here three years ago. I've been battling a long illness and have received emergency treatment at several hospitals, but I believed this hospital was the best. However, when I returned to this hospital for an emergency this time, I was deeply disappointed and worried. The hospital's appearance, patient care, and service have changed so much since three years ago. As someone who visits hospitals frequently, I'm saddened. I wonder why this once-great hospital has deteriorated so much. I'm Korean and in need of a translator. However, during my three days in the hospital, only one nurse, out of all the nurses and doctors, helped me with translations. I fully understand that they are extremely busy, but three years ago, they seemed willing to ask what I needed and explain my situation. Now, although not all of them seem to be, they seem to lack genuine care for patients. I'm especially worried about non-English speakers. I have to think carefully from now on. Where should I go if I'm sick? I'm scared and afraid.

I went there a couple of yrs ago to the psychiatric er and they made me sleep on a hard service. It's inhumane to do that to some one. Then one time I went there for medical and they put me on one to one where someone was watching me

Genuinely felt that the medical staff were overworked(maybe that’s just who they like to hire), but the icing on the cake was when a PA Intern asked “why are you taking up a bed here? You seem ok to go home”, yet they were unable to explain finding from a diagnostic study, not did they attempt to come back with an answer. They also exposed my medical records to some 3rd party vendor, that proceeded to host it on the internet, so somewhere out there someone has my (and possibly thousands of other patients) medical records. I get a sneaking suspicion that this place is focused on $ first.
