Dr Clifford Librach completed his Medical School and Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency training at the University of Toronto, followed by fellowship subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Librach is the founder and Director of the CReATe Fertility Centre in Toronto. He is a Full Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. Dr Librach has made significant contributions to current fertility practice in Canada and Internationally. He has served on provincial and national committees for the development of standards for the practice of REI in Canada. Dr Librach is a past president of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS). Dr. Librach is a leader in the field of reproductive biology research. From a clinical research standpoint, Dr. Librach has been a pioneer in the study of the medical and psychosocial aspects, as well as pregnancy outcomes, related to IVF and third party reproduction (surrogacy and gamete donation). Some of his major basic science contributions include identifying the role of HLA-G in pregnancy and preeclampsia, uncovering important factors indicative of embryo quality, developing methods to improve embryo implantation, developing new methodologies in preimplantation embryo genetics, improving andrology diagnostic testing, and he has carried out pioneering research on the use of a novel multipotent progenitor cell from umbilical cord perivascular tissue for regenerative therapy in both reproductive and non-reproductive applications. Dr Librach has published over 150 peer-reviewed publications, over 750 abstracts, and 8 book chapters. Dr Librach has been an invited speaker at greater than 50 international and national meetings. He has also been interviewed extensively on ART-related topics in the media.

Born in Toronto, Dr. Glass began her scientific training at an early age, enrolling in the Gr. 12 Science School program at the Ontario Science Centre. She then went on to complete her undergraduate training at the University of Western Ontario, her medical degree at the University of Ottawa and her postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynecology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Dr. Glass’ interest in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery brought her to UCLA in Los Angeles, where she completed a two-year fellowship with a dual appointment in the divisions of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI), and urogynecology. For the REI portion of her training she worked with Dr. David Meldrum’s team at Reproductive Partners Medical Group. In 1999, Dr. Glass returned to Canada as Assistant Professor at McMaster University. In 2002, she moved to Toronto to concentrate her efforts on REI, with a focus on fertility preservation in oncology patients. She joined the CReATe Fertility Centre, where she continues to work as Director of Fertility Preservation. She also continues to work on staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Women’s College Hospital, and as an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. Dr. Glass is currently the chair of the Fertility Preservation Special Interest Group of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society and previously served on the executive of the Fertility Preservation Special Interest Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine for five years (2009-2014). She has received a prestigious grant as a co-investigator from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to study young women with breast cancer (RUBY Study). She previously sat on the Oncofertility Working Group for Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology, part of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. She currently sits on the Medical Advisory Panel for Fertile Future, where she was made their “Evening of Hope” Honouree in 2015 for her work helping young people with cancer. Dr. Glass is regularly invited to speak at events across Canada to share her expertise in oncofertility. Above all, it’s her honour and privilege to work with young cancer patients from all over Ontario who require consultation and guidance regarding their fertility preservation options.

Dr. Ari Baratz has been dedicated to women’s health and reproductive medicine for over 15 years. He is one of a select few physicians in Canada with the accreditation and the advanced level of training required for the care of people dealing with infertility and recurrent miscarriages. Dr. Baratz attended McGill University for his Bachelor of Science in Anatomy & Cell Biology (BSc) and the University of Western Ontario for his Medical Degree (MD) where he was recognized with distinction and for outstanding performance in obstetrics & gynecology. After completing his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at the University of Toronto (FRCSC), Dr. Baratz was designated by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada with a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) at the University of Toronto. Upon joining CReATe, Dr. Baratz assumed a faculty position in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, University of Toronto. Dr. Baratz has played an integral role in the Department of Gynecology at the New Women’s College Hospital, University of Toronto. He is a leader in Ambulatory Gynecology and Surgical education and has mentored many students, residents, and fellows in reproductive medicine. Through CReATe, Women’s College Hospital and the University of Toronto, Dr. Baratz continues his research in medical education and several aspects of clinical infertility and reproductive endocrinology. Focused on providing ‘patient-centred’ fertility care, Dr. Baratz’s clinical interests include providing all forms of assisted reproductive technologies, and reproductive endoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery. A compassionate practitioner and dedicated researcher, Dr. Baratz has presented his research at several national and international forums.​ Dr. Baratz has a special interest in Reproductive Telemedicine (Ontario Telemedicine Network). He has provided consultations on matters of infertility and reproductive medicine for patients throughout Ontario, across Canada and internationally. Dr. Baratz is an active member of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario, the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the Society of Obstetricians & Gynecologists of Canada, the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society, and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Baratz is an Executive Board member for Women’s College Hospital, Medical Staff Association, the Women’s College Hospital Alternate Funding Plan, and is Chair for the Ontario Medical Association Reproductive Biology Section.

Dr. Prati A. Sharma is an American Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist who has been in clinical practice for over 10 years. She has an excellent, consistent record of focused practice in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), excelling in Infertility Management, treatment of Reproductive Endocrine disorders and utilizing Assisted Reproductive techniques to help her patients.

Dr. Justin H. Tan received his Bachelors in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), followed by a Masters in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge. He received his medical degree from McGill University and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of British Columbia. Most recently, he completed his fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility from the University of Toronto. Over the span of his young career, he has already published over 40 scientific articles, 7 book chapters, and presented at over 15 conferences over the span of his career.

As the Manager of the Welcome Team at CReATe Fertility Centre, Oren is deeply committed to helping people on their family-building journeys. Oren currently lives in Belgium, which brings a unique, personal perspective to his role. His passion for surrogacy began with his own journey as an intended parent. The emotional experience and the sheer joy of welcoming his child inspired him to make a major career change. He volunteered with the Men Having Babies (MHB) organization for six years, and his husband continues to volunteer with MHB, supporting intended parents. In addition to volunteer work, Oren has proudly been representing CReATe for seven years, gaining invaluable professional expertise. Oren uses this combined personal history, professional knowledge, and empathy to ensure that every new intended parent navigates their process - from the first conversation to securing their package - with less stress, greater clarity, and the confidence needed to start their family.)
