Over a year ago, we chose this agency as international Intended Parents (IPs) to help us find a surrogate. After some time, the agency matched us with a surrogate. The surrogate took an exceptionally long time to sign the documents, get in touch with us, and move forward. Despite these delays, we followed the agency's advice and proceeded with our first attempt using this surrogate. We trusted the agency. The first attempt failed, and we decided to try again. A little while later, our clinic contacted us, informing us that the surrogate had not taken her medications as prescribed. She had called the clinic in tears, completely distraught. The clinic strongly advised us against continuing with this surrogate, as she was clearly unsuitable. While the agency claimed to have conducted a psychological screening, we seriously question either the quality of this screening or the level of support provided by the agency. Only after this incident did the agency begin searching for a replacement surrogate for us, acknowledging that the first surrogate was not a good fit. However, the failure to take necessary medication for the implantation was a massive breach of trust for us. It then took an extended period for us to receive proposals for a new surrogate, even though we were (allegedly) at the "top of the list." It took about nine months to see new profiles, and we only received them after sending follow-up emails to the agency. Each time, they would respond with, "Oh yes, I just found someone for you." This process felt entirely untrustworthy. The surrogates presented to us during this period were unsuitable. According to feedback from our clinic, they would have been high-risk pregnancies. Eventually, we decided to switch to another agency and requested a partial refund, as the first surrogate was clearly unfit for the process. For us, there’s a significant difference between an unsuccessful attempt and a surrogate failing to take the required medications! It took another month for the staff to consult with the "owner" of the agency, only for them to tell us there would be no refund. They claimed there was "no proof" that the surrogate hadn’t taken the medication, despite our clinic’s confirmation. We cannot recommend this agency under any circumstances. While our main point of contact was polite and friendly, the execution of their services was nothing short of terrible. This agency cost us a full year. The first surrogate was completely unreliable. We deeply respect surrogates, but we also expect that once agreements are signed, they receive proper screenings, psychological support, and oversight to ensure reliability. We also expected the agency to support these women, but it seems they only assist a select few surrogates, likely the ones who are already communicative and proactive. Being at the top of the list for over nine months and still only receiving profiles after actively following up is unacceptable. And the debacle regarding the refund—despite the agency’s failure to provide a suitable surrogate—was infuriating. They refused to meet us halfway, not even offering a partial refund. To other IPs: Don’t make the same mistake we did! Choose a different agency. Our new agency is far more reliable, communicates proactively, and makes a much more trustworthy impression. They also provide greater support and care for surrogates, fostering a collaborative environment. This makes all the difference. A successful surrogacy journey requires teamwork, mutual support, and addressing the needs, wishes, and concerns of both IPs and surrogates. This requires an agency with a sensitive, proactive approach—not one that applies pressure to surrogates and makes empty promises to IPs. It’s better to pay a bit more for a trustworthy agency than to support one like this. Otherwise, you risk losing time, money, and ultimately your embryos.

Prime Genetics’ Manager and Facility Coordinator is Stacie Getgood. She is a wife and the mother of two boys. Stacie has been actively employed in various aspects of the medical field for the last 18 years. As a cancer survivor, a condition that impacted her ability to have further children, she is imminently familiar with the hardships of infertility. Her life experiences and training have made her an ideal Manager and Facility Coordinator to carry out the focus and dedication of Prime Genetics in helping intended parents start and expand their families.
Randi is a young mother of 2 boys and joined Prime Genetics as a coordinator at the beginning of 2014 after being a 2x gestational surrogate. Randi has been a part of the surrogacy community since 2007, she gave birth to b/g twins for an international couple in 2010 and again in 2013. Even though she is a retired surrogate, surrogacy is her passion through and through and now enjoys helping other families grow in a different way.
Annie is excited to have recently joined the Prime Genetics team in 2019 and is a great addition to the PG family. Annie has been married to her husband since 2004 and together they have two spunky, outgoing children that keep her very busy. In 2017 Annie gave birth to b/g twins, as a gestational surrogate, and loved every minute of it. While we don’t know what the future holds for her as a surrogate, she definitely wants to bless other families any way she can.
