A+ experience with knowledgeable staff (many of them retired GCs) to guide us along the way. We were matched (ahead of schedule) with our first interview. Turns out, they are the most perfect GC and family for my husband and me. Our son is 2 months old today and we still text regularly and have plans to see each other next month with our son! After talking with 3 other lackluster agencies and chatting about agencies with our GC, my impression is that Fairfax attracts quality candidates on both sides, and they are very thorough and thoughtful through the matching process. Looking back, our GC was accurately described by Fairfax without any startling surprises uncovered later. Our personal journey led us through 1 failed transfer, but a very healthy & successful delivery after the 2nd FET. Perla was a fantastic resource for us--she listened to me during a complex hiccup and even updated/improved a policy based on our conversation. I learned more about Perla's past agency experience from our legal council. She's very talented and is very welcoming to the process. While we had a change in case managers during our journey, each person was eager, understanding, and had great communication. The in-person support we received during labor was a big plus too. From an IP's viewpoint, I appreciated the support and encouragement our GC received from the Fairfax community! Our case managers quickly gave us answers to questions when we needed support. I felt that Fairfax responsibly handled our journey, IP/GC relationship, finances, and relationships with our fertility clinic/OB. The referrals for therapy and legal council were fine and punctual. Our (post birth order) birth certificate is in the mail right now. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend Fairfax. Thank you for helping us make our family dreams come true!
In 2022, I decided I wanted to become a gestational surrogate but I was not sure where to begin. I probably clicked on every link that Google could come up with and read every agency page until I came to Fairfax Surrogacy. I submitted a form for more information and after the first Q&A call I felt very confident that I had found the best fit for me. In 2023, I officially matched with my IPs and got a postive test. The support I recieved every step of the way was incredible and I was very thankful. I had answers to every question with full transparency. My case manager Ronda is amazing! I truly appreciated every text, email, and call checking in on me and keeping me informed. I was even supported well into my fourth trimester! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Fairfax Surrogacy. If you are unsure of where to go for those first questions and really want to work with a professional, supportive, inclusive group (that feels more like family than just an agency) then this is the perfect agency to work with. Meet our Director of Surrogacy Program Growth and Engagement, Perla Piekutowski. Perla has over 12 years of experience in the ART field, including operations, case management, program administration, accounts administration, office management, and executive leadership. She is known for her first-class level of service to intended parents and surrogates, her stellar management skills, and her global networking. Perla and her husband also needed assistance growing their own family through IVF. Her journey to having her children has gifted Perla with more empathy and appreciation for intended parents. Between her professional and personal experiences, Perla serves everyone she meets with enthusiasm and compassion for their goals and understanding their trials. Perla was born and raised in Peru, where she studied communications and public relations. Since then, Perla has compiled a unique and diverse body of experience that helps her understand a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and beliefs. She is bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
Meet our Surrogate Program Manager, Susan Taylor. Over eight years ago, Susan served as a support coordinator for surrogates, where her passion for educating and guiding women through surrogacy began. Susan has also been a gestational surrogate herself. She has helped build two families to grow their families in 2015 and 2017. She quickly knew she had a passion for helping others build their families through egg donation or gestational surrogacy. Susan previously hosted a podcast regarding various ART topics. Additionally, Susan is a Licensed Midwife. She has a big heart for women who have experienced infertility. Occasionally her two worlds will collide, and she can be a Midwife for gestational carriers and their intended parents. Susan’s experience enables her to understand and care for intended parents and gestational surrogates on various levels. She is married with four beautiful children.
Sara has worked in health care law her entire career. At first, she worked doing health regulatory work at a major international law firm, followed by joining a large local health system as in-house counsel. Sara started her involvement in the ART industry in 2019 and she is the General Counsel for GIVF and all of the Fairfax Family of businesses. She is also an honorary ART fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Law Attorneys.
