I couldn’t be more thankful for the support of Amanda at Bright Future Families. As a surrogate, the process can have ups and downs. Having someone to reach out to by text whenever I needed was amazing. Many agencies say they are there for you throughout the process but BFF is actually there for you. I couldn’t be happier that I went through this surrogacy agency.
Very negative experience with the intake representative. We are first time parents who are excited and nervous about beginning the process. Apparently, there are a few medical steps that must be taken before the intake call. This is not listed anywhere on their website. Jennifer, the lady we spoke to, was very rude and started the call with "what can I help you with?" - when I said we were looking to get the process started she was very snippy, asked if we've taken the medical steps, and then responded with "well, you've jumped the gun." She offered no insight or advice on starting the process. She asked if I had any questions but at this point I had totally shut down. This is a far cry from the caring and detailed conversation they describe on their website. I will certainly be finding another organization - unless you already have lots of information about the steps and process, I would strongly encourage you not to reach out this organization!
Ellen started working in this field as an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) lawyer and recognized a need for a personal touch as an agency with gestational carriers. Ashley has transferred three times as a gestational carrier! While the first transfer failed, she went on to successfully carry twins in a 2018 journey and a singleton surrogacy pregnancy in 2020. Ashley understands there are wonderful people out there who would make amazing parents but can’t.
