Sam joined Circle in 2017, after spending 10 years advising and building a variety of businesses. Having experienced fertility challenges when starting his own family, Sam understands firsthand the importance of support and help to fulfill dreams of parenthood. Sam and his wife are now blessed with two beautiful girls with the help of IVF.

John Weltman is a father through surrogacy, a lawyer and the founder of Circle Surrogacy and Egg Donation. He attended Yale University, Oxford University in England and the University of Virginia, from which he earned his Bachelor's, Master's and J.D. (law) degrees. He has practiced law all over the world, and is admitted for all purposes in Massachusetts, New York and California. He was the first to establish the right of couples to get insurance coverage for gestational surrogacy in Massachusetts, and has repeatedly obtained pre-birth orders, step-parent and second-parent adoptions for gay and straight couples and singles having children through surrogacy throughout the United States. He has also worked closely with lawyers and parents from six continents and more than 73 countries to get legal recognition of their children in their home countries.

Scott has been part of the Circle family since 2003. He graduated from Boston College, and then from Boston College Law School, and worked as the Director of Legal Services at Circle. In his current role as the Vice President of Client Services, Scott oversees the Circle team, as well as serving clients. He enjoys meeting with Intended Parents, whether in Boston, on Skype, or in their hometowns. He's proud to have been part of this company for so long, helping so many families grow. Scott is married with 3 beautiful children, and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers each year from 2012 through 2017.

Dean has been part of the Circle Surrogacy family since 2004. In addition to his role as Circle’s Vice President of Legal Services, Dean is also an Attorney and the Chairman of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technology. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Richmond and his Law Degree from Suffolk University. Dean has managed thousands of ART matters over the course of his career and has organized and presented on many panels – both US and International - on the legal aspects of surrogacy and egg donation. Dean is also very involved in surrogacy and third party reproductive advocacy, drafting and testifying in support of legislation before the Massachusetts Legislature. In his current role as the Vice President of Legal Services, Dean oversees Circle Surrogacy’s full legal team, and works closely with Intended Parents on their journeys. He enjoys meeting with Intended Parents, whether in Circle’s offices or via Zoom, as well as visiting them in their hometowns throughout the world. Dean is married with 3 beautiful children and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and Boston Magazine each year since 2009.

Emily earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduate school, Emily worked with individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS in Philadelphia. She then worked with adolescents in a residential program, providing individual, group and family therapy. Emily started at Circle as a Journey Coordinator and now supports both the Program Coordinator team, the Pre-screening and Screening teams and is available as additional support to intended parents. Emily comes to Circle with her own history of infertility struggles and brings this experience and understanding to her role.

Kristin joined Circle in 2017 as Marketing Director. Prior to this role, Kristin worked at advertising and marketing agencies creating successful brand, digital and social campaigns for clients. Her personal experience brought her to Circle: Kristin and her husband are proud parents to their son thanks to Circle Surrogacy. Having been through the process, Kristin brings an experienced perspective to all of Circle's digital and social marketing, and is excited to use her marketing expertise for something for which she has so much passion.

Amanda received her Master of Social Work degree from Boston University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Boston College. Before coming to Circle, Amanda worked in the social work department at a local hospital, providing support to patients in Labor and Delivery. She also spent some time living in Chile and is excited to bring her Spanish language skills and multicultural perspective to the Circle team. Amanda oversees Circle’s team of Program Coordinators while continuing to assist intended parents along their journeys to create and expand their families.

Solveig earned her Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work. During her Master’s Program, she trained at two major hospitals in Texas. At these institutions, she worked primarily with women populations conducting psychosocial assessments, connecting patients and their families with local and national resources, collaborating with the interdisciplinary health team, as well as providing clinical support. Throughout her time at Circle, Solveig has guided surrogates on their journeys, as well as led the social work team in providing best-in-class surrogate support. As the Director of Surrogate Services, Solveig oversees the entire gestational surrogate process, from initial intake to matching and beyond.
