Dr. Cristin Slater joined in 2002 and is the current Medical Director of the Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine. She is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and in the sub-specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Dr. Cristin C. Slater is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. She is very dedicated to her medical practice and has a passion for helping her patients achieve their goal of having a family. She received her bachelor’s degree in 3 years from the University of Utah, majoring in health sciences while minoring in chemistry. She received her medical degree from the University of Utah in 1993. She completed her specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed her sub-specialty fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Slater practiced as an assistant professor in the division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for 3 years at the University of Southern California, where she taught medical students and reproductive endocrinology fellows. Dr. Slater is well trained in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and microscopic surgery as well as with advanced reproductive technologies and hormone management. She has written 3 chapters in medical text books and published many articles in prestigious medical journals. She is active in various regional and national medical societies where she has presented her research. She has served on the board and as president of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Locally, Dr. Slater enjoys private practice and helping her patients. She continues to teach medical students and residents, as well as continuing to lecture for local physicians on topics in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Personally, Dr. Slater is married and is the mother of twin boys. She enjoys reading and staying active. She enjoys the many various outdoor recreational activities that Boise has to offer, especially skiing, hiking, and golf.
