Driven toward your goal
Hello, I looked for this center a long time ago and due to Covid I had to stop the process before even starting it, at that time there was a coordinator by the name of Xiomara if I remember correctly. When I decided to restart the process there was a new coordinator, Alberto Nothing more to say than to say that thanks to him I am still in the process, he gives himself completely, attending 100% every day at practically all hours and not only informing about the processes, but also accompanying emotionally, which is very important in these processes which are sometimes super stressful, either because of the number of processes to follow, or because we come from a different country than yours, another language, other cultures...other methods...but Alberto has helped us a lot, if not for He would not continue in said process or with said center, since it is the human, informative, professional and family part completely. In short, this company gives you that human and close touch that is needed, it would only improve, for those of us who are from Spain and not mastered the language, if the center could better coordinate the signing of documents, since sometimes it is done very tedious and everything could be done in one day or in a few days in a few meetings with the coordinator, for everything else it was great. I give 4 stars for Alberto above all, without him, I repeat myself, the process I don't know if it would continue go ahead, greetings
I like their medical staff and care team, but getting the appointment scheduled with their front desk is just a nightmare recently. We are using ICRM as an outside monitor clinic and every time we want to schedule an appointment, it will take us over 10 phone calls and at least one week. They always can’t find the order sent by our doctor and we have to sent them again at least three times. And most of our phone calls go directly to voicemail and even when we get connected with a real human, they always have questions/problems to schedule and promise us they will call us back once they figure out, but they never call back once! We had a wonderful experience for our first journey, but the second one is just beyond unprofessional and stressful, regarding the scheduling and it delays a lot in our process. I truly believe they need better training. Some other reviews also shared similar experience.
Dr. Cristin Slater joined in 2002 and is the current Medical Director of the Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine. She is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and in the sub-specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. Dr. Cristin C. Slater is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. She is very dedicated to her medical practice and has a passion for helping her patients achieve their goal of having a family. She received her bachelor’s degree in 3 years from the University of Utah, majoring in health sciences while minoring in chemistry. She received her medical degree from the University of Utah in 1993. She completed her specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed her sub-specialty fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the Idaho Center for Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Slater practiced as an assistant professor in the division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for 3 years at the University of Southern California, where she taught medical students and reproductive endocrinology fellows. Dr. Slater is well trained in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and microscopic surgery as well as with advanced reproductive technologies and hormone management. She has written 3 chapters in medical text books and published many articles in prestigious medical journals. She is active in various regional and national medical societies where she has presented her research. She has served on the board and as president of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Locally, Dr. Slater enjoys private practice and helping her patients. She continues to teach medical students and residents, as well as continuing to lecture for local physicians on topics in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Personally, Dr. Slater is married and is the mother of twin boys. She enjoys reading and staying active. She enjoys the many various outdoor recreational activities that Boise has to offer, especially skiing, hiking, and golf.
