Our physicians are fellowship trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and have been at the forefront of this highly specialized area of medicine for over thirty years. Share the same experience as the other reviewers about the staff at this clinic. Dr. Chung was referred by one of my physicians. I tried to make an appointment with her and after filling out an extensive questionnaire, was told that they had policies in place where they could not accept me as a patient. Fair enough, but once that happened, they were unhelpful in responding to follow up questions and her staff is now harassing me with phone calls about how I have not responded to their attempts to contact me even though I have been emailing with Dr. Chung's patient coordinator. I've now asked them several times to stop contacting me. By contrast, the intake other physician that was referred to me has been phenomenal. I spent an hour on the phone with them and they answered every single question I had. Plus, the reasons why Dr. Chung would not accept did not deter them at all. I actually feel grateful that Dr. Chung did not accept me as a patient.
Doctor Chung is phenomenal. But the front desk staff were unorganized, rude, and unhelpful. This is a very intensive experience and the staff should be more on top of it when it comes to appointments, billing, and bedside manner. Make sure to double check all your documents as I found multiple mistakes in mine and had to follow up with corrections. It took me about 6 months from consultation to retrieval mostly because of the daunting experience that was the front desk.

Dr. Guy Ringler is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a proud partner with California Fertility Partners. As a child Dr. Ringler grew up in suburban Detroit, the son of a barber and a school bus driver, with his three sisters. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan, followed by medical school in Detroit at Wayne State University, where he received the class award for highest honors in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Interesting Facts Dr. Guy Ringler is a board certified physician in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He is currently a proud partner with California Fertility Partners. Dr. Ringler completed post-graduate training at the University of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania, where he received awards for his research on placental function. Following years of clinical study and basic science research, Dr. Ringler moved west in 1990, to practice reproductive medicine with the founding physicians of California Fertility Partners. “There is nothing more joyous then welcoming a new born child into this world.” Dr. Ringler is committed to patient education and has served on the board of the American Fertility Association, the advisory counsel of Men Having Babies, and the clinical faculty of the UCLA School of Medicine. He received a Family Building Award by the American Fertility Association and has been named a Super Doctor by Los Angeles Magazine. His articles about family building have appeared in various publications, including The Huffington Post, The Advocate, and Time magazine. Dedicated to family-building education and access for everyone, he has given lectures around the world on fertility treatment options. Dr. Ringler has established a loyal patient following in southern California and has developed an international reputation for expertise in reproductive medicine – especially surrogacy and third-party reproduction. His patients travel from Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa for his medical care. Dr. Ringler was one of the world’s first physicians to help gay men have babies through egg donation and surrogacy. Dr. Kelly Baek is a world-renowned fertility specialist and partner at California Fertility Partners. She is known for her unique relatability with her patients as she also struggled with fertility herself. Most of Dr. Baek’s patients are referrals from friends and family of former patients, travelling from all parts of the world to receive her individualized care. Dr. Baek is double-board certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. A Los Angeles native, she attended the Marlborough School, graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University, and earned her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University Langone Medical Center, and her postdoctoral fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is recognized as one of Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Doctors and Southern California’s Super Doctors. Dr. Baek was featured in the 2019 Vogue article “How California Became the World’s Fertility Treatment Destination,” and in the Netflix series Bling Empire. Passionate about social change, she is a board member of Habits of Waste, a non-profit that protects the environment by finding solutions to create collective societal change. Dr. Baek is a member of the Leadership Circle of Visionary Women, a non-profit that brings awareness to womens’ issues and advances leadership opportunities for women globally. Dr. Baek is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Baek resides in Southern California with her husband and three teenage sons.
Since starting her practice in 2005, Dr. Chung has gained national recognition as an expert in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, serving on numerous advisory panels and board of directors committees for national organizations including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS). With over 10 years of experience, she is committed to providing the very best care to help her patients achieve healthy babies. For this, she has received many awards including America’s Top Doctors, Southern California Top Doctors, Los Angeles Magazine Top Doctors, Pasadena Magazine’s Top Doctors and Exceptional Women in Medicine Awards. It is her goal to guide her patients through their fertility journey with a warm, personal and detail-oriented approach, providing individualized treatment plans based on what would work best for each unique individual or couple. Dr. Chung completed her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, focusing on the most advanced aspects of infertility care. She simultaneously earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology conducting research on optimizing outcomes of in vitro fertilization and fertility preservation in cancer patients. Serving as Associate Professor at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine for many years, she taught Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility to generations of students and trainees. While at USC, she founded and directed the Fertility Preservation and Egg Freezing Program and is currently internationally renowned for her expertise in fertility care for women diagnosed with cancer. In 2019, she decided to move her practice to California Fertility Partners to focus on her greatest passion, which is to take care of her patients. She is excited to join this accomplished group of physicians and to share with her patients the benefits of CFP’s state of the art IVF laboratory. Dr. Nina Vyas is a dedicated physician specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, proudly serving patients at California Fertility Partners. Dr. Nina Vyas is a board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and board-eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). Dr. Nina Vyas grew up in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD). She continued her education at the prestigious University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where she attended both medical school and OBGYN residency. Dr. Vyas further honed her expertise with a Reproductive Endocrinology fellowship at the renowned Cornell Center for Reproductive Medicine in New York City. Interesting Facts: Dr. Vyas is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Vyas enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and playful Cavapoo, Sydney. As a family, they like to cook, entertain, enjoy the outdoors, and search for the best coffee in Los Angeles. Dr. Vyas has contributed significantly to the field of reproductive medicine through her extensive research. She has a passion for advancing knowledge in this field and has shared her expertise through numerous publications, including her latest article featured in the August 2023 issue of Fertility and Sterility. Dr. Vyas approaches patient care with a holistic perspective. She takes the time to understand each patient's unique journey and tailors evidence-based treatment plans to meet their individual needs. As a compassionate advocate, she stands by her patients, offering unwavering support throughout their fertility treatment journey. One of Dr. Vyas' greatest passions is patient education.
